Dayne Crees surprised herself by getting on to the podium in the Women's javelin.
After a tough year where she suffered rotator cuff damage and couldn't throw properly until the last couple of months ago she said she would have been happy with a finish in the top 8. However she threw a huge personal best with her first throw and stay in 3rd place. She told Ned Hall how she got emotional when she found her parents in the stadium and had to put her sunglasses on so nobody could see her cry!
